ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Lewis University's Adrian Myers (Oregon, Ill.) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week. Myers, a senior runner for the Flyers, posted a season-best and provisional time in the one-mile run at the Dick Pond Open on Friday night. He finished the event in second-place and posted a time of 4:13.32. Myers returned at the Wisconsin Badger Open on Saturday to earn a fourth-place finish in the 800-meter run. He finished the event in a time of 1:56.01. Myers is currently ranked first in the conference in the one-mile run and second in the league in the 800-meters. Lewis will host the GLVC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday in Crawfordsville, Indiana. |
