John Lange, who concluded his four-year playing career in the Flyer program three years ago, is serving his third season as a graduate assistant coach.

Lange started 39 games in right field for the 2003 Flyers and hit .266 with one home run, 10 doubles, two triples, 19 RBI and six outfield assists.

The Palos Heights native and Stagg High School alum coached a high school fall-league team in Chicago's northern suburbs three years ago, and he also has coaching experience at the Bulls/Sox Training Academy and in summer camps.

Lange earned a bachelor's degree in sport management and will complete requirements for his MBA (marketing emphasis) at Lewis in March.
