Cale Wassermann is in his first season as an assistant coach for the Lewis University men's soccer team.

In 2006 and 2007 Wassermann was a volunteer assistant for the men's soccer team at Saginaw Valley State, focusing on player development. He has worked multiple camps in Michigan, including the Tom Anagnost's Soccer Camp, the state's biggest soccer camp. In 2006 he served as the head coach of the junior varsity boys' soccer team at Saginaw Heritage High School.

Wassermann was the head trainer for the 2008 Saginaw Sting U-17 Boys travel team and Saginaw Township Soccer Association youth teams.

Wassermann played four years of soccer at Saginaw Valley State University, graduating in 2007 with a bachelor's of arts degree in communication. He was named first team All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in 2004 and 2005.

After college Wassermann spent four months traveling. He attended professional soccer matches in Argentina as well as traveling to Uruguay, Venezuela, and Israel. In high school he was twice named first team all-state.

Wassermann is pursuing a master's of arts in organizational leadership with a focus in higher education at Lewis.
