BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Senior Andrew Northrup placed 20th and freshman Lepkowski was 21st, as the Lewis Flyers took fourth among 18 schools in the college division of the Illinois Intercollegiate Championships at Illinois State, Friday afternoon. The Flyers (117 points) finished behind Rend Lake College (33 points), Augustana (52 points) and North Central (67 points). Northrup covered the 8K course in 25:25.13, with Lepkowski just behind at 25:26.19. Junior Patrick Walsh was 46th (26:13.58), senior Sinan Khamo was 53rd (26:20.81), junior Jeff Ritzema finished 60th (26:24.16), senior Alberto Villa was 68th (26:31.06) and senior Adrian Myers took 98th (27:15.28) in the field of 213 runners. Also competing for Lewis were freshman Seth Schultz (108th, 27:25.78) and senior Kevin Dockemeyer (109th, 27:27.01). |
