SAVANNAH, Ga. - Junior Jamie Siedlaczek tied for 21st among 80 golfers to lead Lewis at the Savannah College of Art and Design Spring Invitational, played Monday and Tuesday at Wilmington Island Club. Siedlaczek carded 82-85=167 to lead a group of 10 Lewis golfers at the tournament. Junior Amy Sachs (84-86=170) tied for 27th, sophomore Allison Snyder (80-94=174) tied for 35th, and freshman Courtney Kellogg (98-87=185) tied for 53rd. Also competing for the Flyers were freshman Heather Poppe in a tie for 55th (92-94=186), Sheila Connolly tied for 59th (89-99=188), freshman Teresa Sandri in 62nd (95-96=191), freshman Courtney Everett in 70th (101-103=204), sophomore Carly Keeler in 71st (103-102=214), and sophomore Britta Halpin in 76th (112-102=214). The Flyers (341-361=702) finished behind Armstrong Atlantic and ahead of Trevecca Nazarene. Embry-Riddle placed first. The Flyers return to action on March 7 against SCAD and Kentucky Wesleyan. |
