PERRY PARK, Ky. - Junior Amy Sachs led Lewis by finishing 42nd among 130 golfers at the Northern Kentucky Spring Invitational. The Flyers finished 14th among 21 teams. Sachs carded 81-83=164 to tie for 42nd. Behind her for Lewis was junior Jamie Siedlaczek in 51st (92-77=169) and sophomore Allison Snyder (86-91=177) and freshman Teresa Sandri (90-87=177) in a tie for 80th. Freshman Sheila Connolly (85-94=179) tied for 89th, sophomore Carly Keeler (94-90=184) tied for 100th, and sophomore Britta Halpin (94-94=188) tied for 110th. The Flyers (349-337=686) finished ahead of conference foes SIU Edwardsville (701) and Kentucky Wesleyan (785) in the team standings. Grand Valley State (621) finished first. The Flyers resume action on April 5 at the Ashland Invitational. |
