MARION, Ill. - Junior Amy Sachs shot a tournament-low round of 77 on the second day to move up to a tie for 10th in the final standings, Sunday afternoon at the Great Lakes Valley Women's golf Championship. Sachs opened the two-day tournament with a 90, carding a 167 final score. Junior Jamie Siedlaczek (91-86=177) and freshman Teresa Sandri (88-89=177) tied for 25th, sophomore Alison Snyder (91-87=178) finished in 30th, and sophomore Carly Keeler (102-91=193) came in 51st place. The field consisted of 58 golfers. Lewis (360-339=699) finished in sixth among the conference's 12 teams. The Flyers were four strokes in back of SIU Edwardsville, which placed fifth. Northern Kentucky (660) took the league title by ten strokes over Indianapolis. |
