OAK BROOK, Ill. - Junior Amy Sachs topped the field and junior Jamie Siedlaczek and freshman Teresa Sandri came in second and third, respectively, to lead Lewis to a second straight tournament win, Tuesday afternoon at Oak Brook Golf Club. Sachs carded a round of 80 to lead the field of 21 golfers. Siedlaczek was right behind with an 81, while Sandri shot an 83. Freshman Courtney Everett completed the scoring foursome by finishing in seventh with an 86. Other competitors for the Flyers were freshman Courtney Kellogg in a tie for ninth (88); senior Vanessa Nomura in 11th (89); freshman Heather Poppe in a tie for 14th (92); and freshman Sheila Connolly in a tie for 19th (94). The Flyers' 330 team score was best among the five-team field, which included Wheaton in second (348) and Carthage in third (372). The Flyers hit the links next at the Wisconsin-Whitewater Invitational on Sept. 22-23. |
