Jennifer Pfeiffer is in her first season as an assistant coach with the Lewis University women's soccer team. Pfeiffer's main focus with the Flyers will be training and individual player development. Pfeiffer brings extensive experience as a soccer coach and trainer. She currently works as the seniors head coach and goalkeeper trainer with the Legends of the Plainfield Soccer Association. In 2006 Pfeiffer served as an assistant at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas. At Johnson, she served goalkeeper coach and summer soccer director. Pfeiffer also has coaching experience with the Kansas Rush (Olathe, Kan.) and Calcio Express (Marion, Ill.) Soccer Clubs. Pfeiffer holds diplomas from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America in national goalkeeping, youth national and premier. She also holds United States Soccer Federation A licenses. In high school Pfeiffer was selected as a pool player for the Olympic Developmental Program in Minnesota from 1988 to 1990. She was an All-State player and part of the Park High School (Cottage Grove, Minn.) state championship team. She played collegiate soccer at the College of Saint Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota and University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. After college she played for the Ren Tex Premiere Team in Austin, Texas. Pfeiffer graduated from University of Texas-San Antonio with a B.S. in kinesiology and sports management. |
