Natalie Wildes begins her first season as an assistant coach for the Lewis University women's volleyball team. A 2004 graduate of Wisconsin-Parkside with a bachelor's degree in psychology, Wildes was a four-year starter for the Rangers women's volleyball team. She concluded her career second all-time on the Rangers' career list with 3,038 assists. She was a two-year captain and was named second team all-conference in 2003. Off the court, Wildes was her team's representative to the student-athlete advisory committee and a member of the athletic director's honor roll. Addtionally, she received UW-Parkside's Ranger Award in 2003 and 2004. After graduating in 2004, Wildes became an assistant coach for the Rangers, where she helped with practice planning, match preparation and general organization. In 2006 Wildes was named assistant coach/recruiting coordinator for the Earlham College (Richmond, Ind.) women's volleyball team. Under her guidance, the team doubled its win total from the previous season. Wildes also was the head coach of the men's club team at Earlham. As men's club coach, she organized practice, travel and tournament schedules. Wildes attended Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha, Wis. where she played varsity soccer and track and field in addition to volleyball. Wildes is pursuing a master's degree in organizational leadership. |
